Principal's Weekly Message (2024)

Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

I hope all our families have had a good week and are headed into something fun and/or relaxing for this long weekend. Just a reminder that all students and school staff will have off on Monday for Memorial Day.

Below is some important information for Final Exams and for next week. Thank you for your attention to these details.

Information & Reminders:

Final Exam Information:

Final exams for second semester classes will be held on-campus the week of June 6th-12th. Students will be taking either teacher-made exams or a state-mandated exam (CTE or EOC courses). Reminder, that final exam participation is required unless you have a 12th grader that has earned exemption status for a particular course. Final exams will count for 20% of the final course grade.

The schedule for final exams is provided below and will be reviewed with students in their homeroom in the coming weeks. Each day students will have one exam, time for lunch, and then we will offer afternoon time toreview for an upcoming exam or complete other work.

Schedule- Spring 2024 Exam Schedule

If a student would like to be dismissed and picked up prior to the study hall, parents may approve that option. Below is the permission form that must be completed and signed in order for a student to be dismissed after their exam period (12:00ish). Students will need to turn this permission form in to their teacher on the day of each exam. Students who are planning to take advantage of early dismissal must leave campus at the end of the exam period and may not come back to campus unless they have an athletic practice or extracurricular activity.Buses will run at 12:30on these dates so if you are a bus rider, you will be able to leave at 12:30.
