If you've watched AccuWeather Early, you know my partner in crime loves to describe me as full of "sunshine and rainbows"... which, to his credit, is absolutely true. I'm an eternal optimist in life and in broadcast, and love to keep things joyful and fun during our five-hour morning show. But when the forecast switches from sunshine and rainbows to dangerous storms, I'm proud to be one of the people who stands between those storms and you. It's the keystone of this job-- keeping people safe in times of turbulence.

sunshine and rainbows are good but in the end, taking care of people and informing them when it matters is where the difference is made. A+.

With snow on the ground, it's getting very tempting to glissade! While fun, it is also a common cause of mountaineering accidents. If you want to glissade, get an ice axe, learn to self-arrest, remove your crampons, and practice first! Here more tips: https://zurl.co/NiQ4
