A study published in the May edition of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery reveals the number of pediatric maxillofacial trauma cases were higher during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic lockdown restrictions compared to periods outside the lockdown between 2019 and 2020. A new study published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery finds better medical training and knowledge are warranted to achieve predictable results when injecting botulinum toxin safely into the masseter muscle.
